SailingEuropeCharter own fleet is fully insured by Generali.

(A) INSURANCE PACKAGES INCLUDED - NO EXTRA COST FOR THE CLIENTS

Complete SailingEuropeCharter fleet is insured for the following:

  • Insurance for damages on the boat that surpass the safety deposit
  • Insurance for damages towards 3rd parties and their property
  • Insurance for the crew in case of an accident involving death or permanent disability

These insurance packages are free of charge for our Clients as we are covering their cost on a yearly basis. The detailed descriptions and terms of these insurance packages can be checked on the official Generali web page or Yacht-Pool page, depending on which yacht you will be chartering.

If you decide to charter a yacht which is not owned by SailingEurope Charter but belongs to one of our Partners, the yacht will most commonly be insured by similar insurance packages, details depending of the yacht's owner company policy.

(B) EXTRA TRAVEL INSURANCE PACKAGES - OPTIONAL FOR THE CLIENTS

If you would like to obtain additional insurance packages, we can offer the following ones:

  • Travel health insurance
  • Insurance of booking cancellation
  • Personal baggage insurance
  • Other usual travel insurance packages

If you would like to get more information, such as detailed descriptions and terms of these insurance packages, or arrange one of the extra insurance packages, feel free to contact us.

Note: Insurance of booking cancellation can only be obtained at the time of booking confirmation. Other extra insurance packages can be obtained prior to your trip, according to current Terms and Conditions of the insurer. No insurance can be obtained once the trip has started nor in the marina.
